You CAN Make A Difference
Stumbled upon CANstruction while enjoying a leisurely Sunday afternoon with my boy. Ironically, discussing his recycling school project.
The exhibit at Liberty Place was so cool that I had to learn more.
CANstruction is a national charity that combines the competitive spirit of design with a unique way to help feed the hungry.
CANstruction Philadelphia is organized by the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and, last year, donated 47,402 pounds of food and $5,752.71, providing 58,907 meals to those in need throughout the Delaware Valley!
Although we had just missed “The aCANemy Awards,” the “red carpet” gala held on Saturday, April 25 at The Rotunda in the Shops at Liberty Place, there’s still time to see the exhibition and vote for the People’s Choice Award.
