Totally in Love with Tamarindo

After playing tourist in Manuel Antonio and Monteverde we were ready for some R&R but never did I expect what awaited us in Tamarindo!

As we pulled up to our resort, we were greeted and showed through to the private courtyard.  Nothing unusual you say only that I was immediately whisked away by the owner down to the beach where a masseuse was awaiting to attend to my achy body.
Talk about a welcome!

As my full body massage was coming to an end, Jacob came over with a cold coconut juice courtesy of the owner.  Ok so at this point the cynic in me was going from ‘hmm, what’s the catch?’ to ‘boy, I can get used to this!’
As I sipped my coconut juice, I was shown to our Tamarindo home, a private bungalow on the beach!

The brand new property consists of 8 uniquely crafted private cabanas that surround the pool area which leads to the beach.

I love the little details and personal touches throughout like the surfboard shower…

And the draped ceilings with iron chandeliers…

If there was any doubt before then I’m certain now that this is the life for me!
