First and foremost, how cute is this kid?  Jacob, about age 5, with one of the 5 Lambs we made to hang over his crib…

Hard to believe that we’ve already gone through 4 different beds & just as many room themes but, I have to say that from the nursery to the now, big boy room, I miss the baby room the most!

We we DIYing way before Jacob came into our lives so naturally, we wanted to put our personal touch into his room.  This lambie nursery rug from Pottery Barn Kids was my inspiration…

From it, evolved these hand sawed, hand painted, googly-eyed, faux eyelash & real sheepskin Lambs…

Trying to find pictures of us and the materials we used but, I don’t think that I was as diligent about documenting our every step back then.  Remember, this was BJ (Before Jacob) & life was very different BJ.  For instance, Sushi Cat was our baby & she wasn’t giving up her throne any time soon…

and then everything changed…
