Goodbye #MonthOfAlya

Saying bye to #TheMonthOfAlya aka August aka last month of summer is always sad.

Good thing I have a busy and fun year ahead to keep occupied.

How to close out a month of many awesome ups and a few unexpected and disappointing downs?  A true Russian feast of herring, baked potato, taranka and beer. I guess what they say is true; you can take the girl out of Russia but you can’t take the Russian out of the girl!Oh yeah and then there’s Russian “dessert”, semechki anyone?
