#SocialDistancing What I’ve Learned So Far

I’m not even going to pretend that I know how many day’s we’ve been practicing #SocialDistancing

At the rate that COVID-19 is spreading, it’s probably less than what we should’ve been. Heck, I flew to California & back the week before shit hit the fan. What I do know is that I’ve learned quite a bit about myself & those “around me” in the short-ish time we’ve been in exile.

Here are the 5 Things I’ve learned about myself so far. Feel free to comment but bonus, I’ve also learned that most of you won’t.

Number 1 – Despite my love for travel which I really, really miss right now, I’ve learned that I’m a total homebody. Maybe it’s because there’s really nothing exciting outside my door, but staying in & busying myself is totally my jam. Could be all of the years my generation spent training for times like this or, all of the social media distractions but I totally got this #SocialDistancing

Number 2 – Bra-less pilates is totally do-able, liberating & quite frankly, awesome. Sue Ellen Mischke the “bra-less wonder” was onto something even back when the heiress to the Oh Henry! candy bar fortune was Elaine’s nemesis.

Number 3 – From manis & pedis to hair cuts & colors & everything in between, my DIY skills are bar none. Pretty sure if forced to, I could survive an apocalypse. Yep, I made the lamb Jacob is holding, more on that here.

Number 4 – I appreciate Saks & Bergdorf keeping me “in the loop” on the 100+ New Spring Arrivals but come on, where am I going!? Poshmark & unloading shmatas is more my world these days & you should join me! What’s more, do I really need anything more than the Lululemon leggings & worn in T-shirt I’ve had on rotation these past few weeks? Nope, Phil was right, I DO NOT.

Number 5 – Finally & because it’s not all about me, Jacob can & will play X-box all day if allowed. I suppose this is where a basement comes in handy. Out of sight out of mind because the sight of him VG-ing is making me lose my mind! Breathe in…Breathe out…
