You never have to
ask me twice to spend the day in NYC and so this week is especially great cause I’m here three whole days…yeah to being in NY…boo to the weather sucking!
Best part for me is uncovering new hot spots like the Ace Hotel and what may be my favorite new coffee shop, Stumptown. http://stumptowncoffee.com/
The 12-story boutique hotel is in the heart of Midtown and a few blocks from the NY office where I work and so when I expressed the desire for a mid-day coffee fix, a fellow coffee connoisseur suggested I try Stumptown Coffee Roaster.
This very retro too-cool-for-school coffee shop is located in the lobby of the Ace Hotel and had a line 20 people deep when we arrived.
20 Minutes later I was indulging in a latte that was too pretty to drink…
and a caramelized coffee cake that was too delicious to put down…
Note to self and all of you, next time in New York
