Top Of The World

Years ago, when I was young and single, I lived in Manhattan in a great apartment with a balcony overlooking the Twin Towers.
Yes, that was almost 17 years ago and before the tragic events of 9/11.
The downtown area is very different these days and Wednesday night I was back only this time, to celebrate in the same spot that was once home to my then spectacular views.
One World Observatory was the site of our festivities and is positioned on top of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, One World Trade Center, 1,776 feet in the sky.  The skyscraper was designed by David M. Childs and opened its doors to the public October 2014.  There are 54 high-speed passenger elevators in all so why don’t I take you for a ride on the one we had reserved for our private party last night?
Hold on, this is pretty cool!

Hope you enjoyed soaring above New York City!  I was blown away especially, when I arrived to these fantastic  panoramic views…

THE WORLD SAW IT RISE.
THE WORLD SAW IT TAKE SHAPE.
WE NOW INVITE THE WORLD TO…
SEE FOREVER™.
