Tonight’s Dinner

Was inspired by Jacob who ordered clams when everyone was chowing down on burgers and fries.
Over the weekend, in between pool parties and fireworks, we stopped by Ventura’s Greenhouse in Margate for a bite.
We were all starved and if you’re anything like me, you’ll eat just about anything (as long as it’s greasy and delicious).
Case in point…I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the others followed suit but Jacob?
He ordered the raw clams with the promise that he would share.  He didn’t!
What can I say, the boy has great taste and knows what he likes.  Have I mentioned that he’s 10?
Anyway, while food shopping for tonight’s dinner, I decided to make his day and steam up some clams.

The roast chicken were delicious…

Oh, and so was the fruit medley of blueberries, cherries, mango and watermelon…

Oh well, I tried and since I’m not one to throw out food, was left to finish the bowl of fishy shellfish.  Thankfully my shellfish allergy is a thing of the past…
