The Christmas Village

At #LOVE Park wasn’t as horrible as I had expected it to be.
The Parkway leading up to it was alive with tourists carrying souvenir mugs of warm apple cider, hot cocoa and other adult libations.
Even Jacob got excited when he saw the tiny little white tents in the distance.

Once in, and as if on cue, we were greeted with sights and smells of bacon infused goodies from spreads to fried cheeses which we happily sampled.
Inside was complete mayhem so we looped once around and went out as quickly as we came in but not before this happened…

Aah, the holidays.  They sure do bring out the best in all of us!
