Since Parc was all sold out of their fabulous French Baguettes, I decided to bake my own so, here goes. My first attempt at baking French Baguettes…

Ingredients
- 1.75 ounces warm water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 16 ounces bread flour
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 10 ounces cool water (you may not need all of the water)
- additional flour, for dusting
Can you believe we’re alive to see bread lines again!? Crazy times people, crazy times!
Et Voila, I give you my homemade baguettes! They didn’t rise as well as I had hoped for…I think it was the yeast, but they were crunchy & delicious 😋 plus, the boys liked them & frankly that’s all that matters to me.
