David already has Sanders’ non-rhotic, Brooklyn-bred accent down pat, but the rest of his impression—flailing arms, outsized rhetoric, fire-and-brimstone delivery—is equally on point.  He proved to be a brilliant foil for Kate McKinnon’s maniacal Hillary Clinton with Alec Baldwin rounding out the hilarity with an uber-patriotic take on Jim Webb, the only presidential candidate to once kill a man.
