Happy New Year!

I’m a few days late but wanted to wish everyone a Happy, Healthy, & Prosperous New Year! Thanks for all the love & hope that you continue to support AlyaBuzz in 2019.

The boys & I spent Christmas & New Year in sunny Miami which makes it that much harder to get back into the swing of things & the cold but, knowing that I’m kicking 2019 off with a check off the bucket list is a promising!

Usually, we spend our time in Miami in SoBe (South Beach) but this time around, decided to break it up & do half the time in downtown Miami & half in SoBe. Have to say that despite having a fab apartment in the Icon Bricell in Miami, SoBe is still my fave!

What better way to kick off the new year than with a check off the bucket list?

Back in the 90’s, I (& probably every fashionista in the world) was obsessed with everything Vesace & have been dying to see the inside of the Versace Mansion/The Villa Casa Casuarina ever since he purchased it in 1992. So finally, after all these years, I got to experience it while dining at Gianni’s with fun new friends! That’s 2 checks if you ask me!

The Villa was originally built in 1930 by the architect, author, & philanthropist, Alden Freeman. In 1992, it was purchased by the Italian fashion designer & today, the Villa operates as a luxury boutique hotel, restaurant & event venue. Yes my friends, it’s as fab as I had imagined it!
