Happy 85th To My Baba Alla

My Baba Alla is 85 years young today.

She may no longer wear her hair in her signature black and silver style.

Or stilettos that run for miles.

She may not hear every word I say.

Or know all of my friends by name.

She can no loner keep up with me at the mall.

And occasionally takes a clumsy fall.

But she is still as sharp as a knife.

And never takes for granted love or life.

She dare not leave the house without lips and hair.

Mess with her family you wouldn’t dare.

She loves unconditionally heart and sole.

My grandma Alla whom I adore.
