Fit For A Queen

As if making us feel weak at the knees with his signature red soles wasn’t enough Christian Louboutin invaded our beauty closets by first, introducing a dazzling collection of nail polishes and now, is making us drool over his new lipstick collection.

The Parisian designer just announced the launch of ultra-luxe Lipstick Collection, inspired by Queen Nefertiti and the Art Deco movement. 

The new lip color line features 38 incredible shades in three different textures: Silky Satin, which comes with 20 full coverage shades with a hint of shine, Sheer Voile, which includes 9 gossamer hues with a luminous glow, and Velvet Matte, that features 9 opaque pigments with a soft matte finish.
Designed to look exactly like a piece of jewelry, the collection’s signature colors will be housed in special black lacquered or dazzling gold cases.

Each lipstick will be encased in a luxurious cone or bullet-shaped vial, topped with studded crowns and outfitted with a tiny ring.  That tiny ring can transform each lipsticks into a pendant and if that’s not proof that beauty is practical than I don’t know what is!

The new collection is scheduled to debut on ChristianLouboutin.com this September so go ahead, add it to your back to school shopping list.  At $90 per tube, your child may go lunch-less for 1 month but you will look fabulous at drop-off. 😉

September is suddenly shaping up to be a very exciting and very expensive month.
