Almost Summer Ready

Every spring I go out and buy just enough flowers to make our balconies look presentable and summer ready. Every summer I watch my hard work dry up and die with the heat so, this year I thought about taking a different approach and only plant grass.

I guess that you can say that I like to go off plan but really, who sits and admires grass am I right?

I did mix tall perennial grass with various red and white blooms so hopefully the combo lasts into the fall. Would love suggestions from other urban dwellers on how to keep my plants quenched and pretty!? Pretty please!
