Today Is The Day – CISV

Today is the day my baby is setting out on a life-changing experience and I’m sad. I was excited and still am but today, I’m just sad and a little scared.

Doesn’t help that one of his favorite songs, Once I was 7 Years Old, is playing and we’re zipping up his suitcase.

All I wish for now is that we’ve given him the tools to represent himself, his family and his country  in a way that would make us proud. That, and have the time of his life while learning about ways to preserve our planet.

Have I mentioned how proud I am of this kid!!??
