Peanut Butter Cookies are What’s For Dinner!
When in Quarantine, days bleed into nights, weekdays into weekends & meals into dessert which is why tonight, we had chunky peanut butter cookies for dinner.
Don’t judge. They were right out of the oven warm, just the right balance of chewy & crunchy & OMG delicious. Thank for the recipe Food Network,
Here are the Ingredients you’ll need:
- 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup additional to roll cookies
- 1 stick butter, at room temperature
- 1 egg
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter – I replaced smooth with chunky because there’s only one way to eat peanit butter.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups flour
And the Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a baking sheet. In a large bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Beat in egg to mixture. Mix in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Stir in salt, baking soda and flour until well combined. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and then roll in sugar. Place on baking sheet and flatten with fork. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
See, easy! Now you try it with a glass of milk or a Rosé Wine.
