Paris our way

It wasn’t my first time in Paris and I certainly hope that it won’t be my last but, it was definitely the most memorable. All thanks to this guy!

Six days celebrating 15 awesome years in the most romantic city in the world and we did it our way as we always do. From uncovering every Rue & Boulevard to schlepping to every Chanel Boutique (sorry) & Boulengerie (should be sorry), I only wish I had a fitness tracker to see how many miles we covered and how much wine & coffee we consumed.

There is so much to share but let’s just start by saying that every morning began with expresso overlooking Place de la Republique where we stayed at the Crowne Plaza Paris-Republique…

And ended with a bottle of rosé or champagne against one of Paris’ many
amazing sights…

We stayed in a great location especially, if you’re looking for easy metro access and a cool neneighborhood arrondissement to explore. Situated on the Right Bank of the Seine, the 11th is one of the most densely populated urban districts not just of Paris but of any European city. We found it to be full of trendy new coffee shops, galleries, boutiques and boulengeries and while we didn’t spend that much time exploring our own neighborhood, we did sample the goodies at Du Pain et des Idées…

Now, there are pastries and then there’s L’escargot chocolat pistache and if you think this looks good, then you won’t believe how it tastes!

and quenched our thirst at the hip Ten Belles on 10 Rue de la Grange aux Belles…

A typical day started late and ended even later but when you have Paris at your fingertips, who has time to sleep?

Especially, when our balcony overlooked the stage to the Oüi Fm Festival for 3 straight nights…
