Need A Reason To Dine Out?
Of course you don’t and what if I sweetened the deal and told you that it’s for a great cause?
Bet I’ve got your belly gurgling now!
In its 25th year, Dining Out for Life, founded in Philadelphia by ActionAIDS in 1991 is an annual fundraising event to raise money for AIDS service organizations.
Since its inception, the event has expanded to over 60 cities in North America and has become a “Must Do” throughout the Delaware Valley.
Every year, on the last Thursday in April, participating restaurants donate 33% of each diner’s food bill to local AIDS service organizations. Additionally, anyone who donates $25 or more at a participating restaurant, is eligible for 20% Off Tuesdays for the rest of the year.
Hosted by Subaru of America,
Dining Out for Life will be held this Thursday, April 30, 2015 with more than 200 restaurants in the region giving back to benefit those suffering from HIV and AIDS.
Many of my favorites from Amis to Sampan to Zahav are on the list and if you have been looking for an excuse to try the many amazing Philadelphia Restaurants then this is the perfect opportunity all while supporting a great cause. Check out the full list of restaurants and make a reservation here.
Dining Out for Life benefits 5 AIDS service organizations in Southeastern Pennsylvania and the states of New Jersey and Delaware including ActionAIDS, AIDS Delaware, Family and Community Service of Delaware County, the Camden Area Health Education Center and Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
So, where to Thursday?
Decisions…Decisions
