What’s on the menu?
Ever sincere returning from Israel last year, I’ve been on a za’atar kick so. For entree, I’m going to attempt the Roast Chicken With Lemon and Za’atar recipe from Susan Spungen.
And for dessert, channeling Martha Stewart with her Raisin-Challah Apple Betty…

Of course there’s also the homemade matzo-ball soup, challah, chicken liver pâté, rice pilaf, & countless other dishes that my Russian family has infused over the years.
