Happy New Year / C Novim Godom!!!

As we say goodbye to 2009, I find myself reminiscing about all the things that made this year a memorable one.

Not sure when time started to fly but I’m pretty sure it was the second Jacob was born. The year was 2005 and seems like it was only yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital full of excitement and joy. Watching him grow into an amazing person, a kind and caring human being, a witty jokester and a loving son has been the highlight of my year. Nothing else seems to matter except that he is happy, healthy and loves me more than anyone on this planet!
Phil and I are happier than ever and he is the best husband a woman could ask for…forgive the Peep blood all over the bed ok??
Work was fine although I did get a new position that I hope will grow into something exciting and challenging.
My parents and Grandma are healthy and continue to challenge me on a daily basis because that is how often I speak to them (-:
We took a couple of memorable vacations starting with Universal for Jacob’s 4th Birthday and ending with Cabo in December.
The house in Margate was one of the best decisions we ever made and going to the beach every weekend was a great escape from the city and provided for much appreciated family time.
I launched this very successful blog that is followed by an impressive 13 people internationally but truly…according to Google analytics has a strong out of the gate following of 155! So stop teasing and start following smart-asses…you know who you are (-:
The highlight of my year would have to be Jacob asking me to marry him because as he put it, “I’m the best girl ever”
I hope you all take a few minutes to reflect on the year that was and find little pearls to remember and cherish forever…trust me they’re there.
