Good Old Abe
Did it again!
Back for another memorable meal at Abe Fisher and this time, with a good friend who has great taste and style.
This was his first time and since I’ll do anything for a friend, we went with the Prix Fixe menu so that we could try as many dishes as possible. We started with Borscht Tartare and Chopped Liver from the first section…
Followed by the Tuna Crude and the mouthwatering Corned Pork Belly Reuben from #2…
And completed the entrée portion of our culinary journey with Duck Blintzes and Veal Schnitzel Tacos…
Two bottles of wine, a glass of Amaro, an Italian herbal liqueur commonly drunk as an after-dinner digestif, and 2 desserts; Bacon and Egg Cream and Almond Cake, and we were ready to call it a night.
So glad that I wore this very forgiving dress…
Until next time Abe!
