Getting Old Sucks

You know you’re getting old when the best compliment you hear all day is in reference to your beautiful hip X-ray! ‪

Last Wednesday I did something, not sure what specifically, to my hip/leg and have been limping in excruciating pain ever since.  Finally went to see a doctor and spent 2 aggravating hours at the hospital getting X-rays. Guess what, surprise surprise, the doc has no idea what it is.

My hubby the super-doc diagnosed me but all I can do now is ice and rest and wait for it to go away.  Easier said than done when you have an active life which includes city walking and trips to NYC.  All I know is that I look like an old lady hobbling around the city in my Uggs, the only shoes that feel comfortable and quite honestly, the only flats I own.
