Chanel Obsessed

Can you tell that I’m just a bit obsessed with my new Chanel sunglasses?

Can I tell you that I dragged my poor and extremely patient husband to every Chanel store in Paris to find them?
Can you believe that not one of the 5 carried them and I ended up buying them in New York!
Truth be told, as much as I love designer clothes and accessories, I’m not one to drop heavy dough on them.  Heck, I hardly ever pay retail cause you know, that’s for suckers…sorry suckers!  But I am known to find something that I love and obsess over it until I get it.  That’s not good for anyone especially, that same poor and patient husband who clearly didn’t marry me for my fun, cute stalker-ish personality.
These were especially coveted when I realized just how difficult they were to get. 
Imagine, being at the flagship Chanel store in Paris and they hadn’t even seen them!  Très Bizarre!
Naturally, that made me want them even more and when we returned, I finally tracked them down.
First at Saks where they had 1 pair and it was gold which I didn’t like.

Then, the Chanel Boutique on 5th Avenue where I finally tried on the silver pair.  They were cool but I had my heart set on the black with crystals around the rim.
